We found that the room was not done at 4:00 pm and needed to call for service, the food is awful in most of the places, the Mediterranean restaurant is very good, the Italian could be one of the best , but they don't even know how to open a bottle of wine, very unprofessional. The resort is absolutely stunning, with lush foliage and adorable animals (peacocks, coatis, agoutis, howler monkeys, turtles) everywhere, and really well maintained! Several of the girls knew my daughter by name within the first few days and would always come by our spot by the pool to swoon over her! There is a specialized activities pool, a quiet pool for adults, a kiddie pool, and an aqua-bar. Another perk of staying at Iberostar Quetzal means that youll be located at the heart of the Yucatan Peninsula which is the perfect base for exploring all the Riviera Mayas top attractions.
