Tried different concentrations of soap, cleaned the external sensor, and replaced the batteries (even though the originals were still good. So you have a nice touchless soap dispenser, but it has stopped working. The answer is, it's coming from that red circular area just below the red flashing LED. I changed the batteries to fresh ones. have quit working few times, now blinking, & has wasted 3 full refills which AREN'T cheap ! The sensor may have become stuck due to excessive use. Can't keep buying batteries or soap but LOVE the idea of hands free dispenser. When it works it is great. I forgot to mention (for those people who have the unit dispensing soap when the lights are turned off), that the reason may be that the IR emitter is dirty or obstructed, but ANOTHER source of IR light is being detected by the unit (Perhaps coming from the bathroom light itself). I really like the product but the longevity is a major issue. How do I get the empty bottle out??? Have two units and one recently started to dispense soap by itself. If it is pointing down, rotate the sensor until it faces up. You may also need to change the filter if it has become clogged. The easiest way to do this is to remove the top cap and pour some water into the bottom part of the bottle. I tried all these steps and still it wont dispense. Remove 3 screws from the gearbox cover. Please make sure that the sensors have been cleaned properly with alcohol wipes before use. i fixed mine, it was the ir led on the top , dont know why it failed , but i ended up just having the flashing red led near the bottom . Lysols CS rep was just reading a script. Make sure that the area surrounding the sensor is dry before cleaning it.
