A woman's perspective: In my judgment from sniffing every Spicebomb flanker, this still remains the best in the entire line-up to my nose. Its warm, musky, yet sweet and sexy. I get a lot of spice of course, some sweetness, strong undertones of leather, and mild tobacco. I love warm spicy fragrances so naturally this is right in my wheelhouse. Has a sweet top of grapefruit and bergamot and a nice, hot pop of chilli and pink pepper with ambroxan, dusty cinnamon and saffron and has a slight chewiness from the elemi resin. Something unbalanced about this. Ill check if my husband finds it sexy on me - I would definitely find it sexy on him. Sweet pine woody cinnamon with a hint of spice and leather tobacco it really has it all My scarves favorite scent. It is warm and cozy. The thing is that the juice is very diluted and the scent is somehow watery and bland, not what it smelled before. Sillage is good for the first hour, after 1 hour it disappears. I tried wearing it three times, and each time, the only note I could pick up was cinnamon, which smelled very fake, like gum. I havent wore it in the spring or summer, only the fall and winter because of the note base. Ive been wearing a 2021 batch of Spicebomb since October. However, it settled into a beautiful warm spice with the base notes of leather, tobacco, and vetiver combining to create almost a cedar-like smell. How can you not like this? The 2019 formulation lasts easily 10-12 hours on my skin, while this is less than the 16-18 hours of the 2014 version, i actually pull way more compliments wearing the new one. I sprayed this on my skin 2 hours ago and it is RADIATING off of it. I would probably say that this was what started my proper fragrance journey. Yep - complete non-plus for me.. I'm a woman, and I never sampled cologne marketed to men (still don't, if I'm honest) before, but for some reason, in Macy's, decided to spray a little spicebomb on a piece of paper, and literally lost my mind. Not the kind of stuff I wear, certainly for manly men. That this masculine scent was so bubblegum sweet I think turned my nose towards more daring smells. This is a true spicebomb! It's great and I do like it, but its so full of spice and sweetness, it just feels too synthetic. Highly recommended if you're 30 or above . I'm much prefer spice bomb extremes opening. A bit pricy but well worth it. The first application is like being whacked around the head with a peppercorn and cinnamon trussed salmon. Timeless perfume cloned many times. After about 20 minutes, the leather started to make a show. Great for cool weather and the spice is reminiscent of the holidays. I like the Infrared much more because it's not just pure spice, it has an added sweetness to it. The performance isnt best I've seen, pretty average. Great projection and performance although it is an EDT. I love this one. The fragrance is incredibly smooth and alluring throughout its wear. It never turns unpleasant, but given how amazing it is for the first hour, the mid and drydown does not fully live up to the opening. Just second to spicebomb extreme, this one is a lovely fragrance, i can wear it all year round and works for me. I had one female friend go nuts over that combo (for reference, we're both female, but she is hetero, and I think she would've exploded if she would've smelled that on a guy LMAO). For me much better than Extreme. 3.5 hours in, its fading fast but I can still get a fair amount of pepper and leather with that slight earthy/grassy smell, whichd be the vetiver. On me the bergamot is fairly prominent and there is more sweetness than anticipated. Warm and inviting with a Fresh spices opening. Not the kind of scent i like on a man or me. have always loved sbbut the recent formulations are very weak. The opening is dry, nicely blended, sharp, aromatic, and very pleasant. The only downside to this fragrance would be that it does not really improve through the wearing experience. Amazing fragrance. It's errs on the sweet side, which I normally don't find appealing in perfumes, but it really works here, as the cinnamon and slight leather notes complement it and rein it in from smelling too sugary and food-like.
