If there were a top-10 cheapest pleasant fragrances list, Montblanc Starwalker must be on it. A perfume that gets makes a bad day good. Uniquely fresh and clean, the bamboo note is very different to anything else I have smelled. Wearing this with a tshirt and sweat pants would seem improper. Starwalker has a vintage 90s freshness to it that works well, the only issue is the performance is seriously lacking. This is what you want in a hot heavy humid weather. It is pleasant and has light projection and longevity. Just lighter than both of those. It smells like Hugo Boss Energise for men. Not a bad fragrance at all its just not anything special. I think if you got a job interview definitely wear this! Reminds me of fresh clean laundry in the best possible way. A perfect scent for any occasion but rocking this in the summer is surreal. Lets add up all the factors of why this should be in your collection and why Mont Blanc was foolish for discontinuing it: BoergeSmalls - I agree this opens up EXACTLY like Lalique White - but on the drydown they diverge; Lalique stays on the spicy, citrus path but the bamboo really stands out on this when it dries down. But That's ok considering its safe to wear. I like this fragrance quite a bit. I can see myself wearing it all year long. I gotta admit I didn't see (or smell) this coming when I bought it. Longevity and sillage are moderate and it's definitely not weak on me. But the dry down is pretty good. To me Starwalker is the best of the Mont Blanc collection. This fragrance in my opinion has similar notes to those two, but also slightly different. Definitely one of the nicest citrus/fruity fragrances in the world, it really is! performance is terrible but smells very clean and typical. But, it is not the same fragrance. Seems to last about four hours on my skin and remains potent on fabric for twenty-four hours and beyond without discoloration. A very soapy, inoffensive scent that comes across as a much lighter version of Encre Noire Sport. Similarly, its longevity is completely unacceptable, this scent is gone in about 1 hour. It isn't the type that will blow you away, nor is it extremely unique, but I reach for this so often that I had to leave a review. Could be worn day or night & even formally. The subtle fragrances can be very alluring. Better for warmer weather. Basically and instant skin scent which isn't always a bad thing personally. good for summer time. Albeit weak performance. Its unique too. Synthetic to the point where it reminds me of a cheap dollar store scented candle. I dont care if its synthetic because it smells so good. Happy times. If you're planning on going on a date bringing a girl close to you she will definitely get this scent however if you were going to pick up a girl and not get extremely close she may not smell it. $20 for 50ml of solid juice. Besides the bamboo there is this peppery smell to balance thar just find it so appealing. Starwalker doesn't project at all, doesn't last longer than an hour, and is only useful for the gym. Starwalker opens with a sweet bamboo and citrus before settling into an airy mandarin heavy fresh scent. Unfortunately Starwalker Extreme is NOT AT ALL similar to the originals bamboo citrus scent. This actually isn't bad for the price you can find it for right now, like $20 or under, and I think it's discontinued? Very versatile, with an intimate type of projection. So that really kills the potential for this one. It smells like car perfume for me, it genuinely does. As far as smell goes this is one of my all time favorites, im addicted to the smell. Heard it was discontinued and saw it was $40 online at some places so went to pick it up an extra at Tjs where there were a few left. But if you ask others if hey can smell it i believe they will tell u its still there i would think a realistic average should get at least 4hrs. In a big collection, I can't see what's the occasion for this to be used, except you want to express feelings like those. But with a welcome subtlelty given it's a skin scent. Performance isn't that great but can always reapply it over again. Starts off with orange and bergamot with softer bamboo at first. The only downfall is the week sillage and does not last that long. The juice is a Legend.. but Starwalker fits better. It smells cute if you ask me but in a good way. Then it becomes this smooth relaxing smell. It is just good, longevity moderate, lasting acceptable, when it gets dry its smell could me annoying on clothes. Not bad. And that's what this one is with the bamboo of course coming through as the "star"note, but also the dry down is great with the fir tree resin and Amber with the white musk bringing beautiful scent that stays with me almost the entire day. Second, all I got was citrus from beginning to end on my skin. Ive had a couple mont blancs in th past and this might be my favorite among all although at first it wasnt my first choice, it kinda grw up on me. It smells like a super strong body wash like Prada Luna Rossa Sport, fresh out of the shower. I put some on and can detect skin scent almost 24 hours later. The performance is very moderate and linear. It would be a nice office fragranceif it had some longevity. After 8 hours it's still going strong. I do recommend you to try this if you live in a country where the weather is hot & humid all day long. When I blind bought this, I was looking for a clean, fresh, woody unisex scent. If you smell this fragrance right off your skin you can pick up notes of bamboo, bergamot with mandarin which turns into a nice warm cedar wood with hints of spices like a black pepper note which means that you can wear this scent in the early fall months when the leaves are beginning to change color and maybe even fall but not much longer after that. After the success of Individuel for Men, from 2003, Mont Blanc decided to change a bit the course of its male perfumery, offering something more refreshing to its audience. Towards the mid I get more of a Versace Pour Homme Vibe. Can apply heavy, scent tapers off quickly. It's very odd to my nose. Yes, the smell will remind you of Versace Eau Fraiche but Starwalker is more on woody side with the presence of bamboo notes & sandalwood where Versace Eau Fraiche on the oceanic side. However can't stand the bamboo note. When I first tried this, thoughts of being outside in the hot sun on the pool side tanning came to my mind. I don't know what bamboo is supposed to smell like but if it's anything like this then count me in! I want to like this one so much. After I use up this bottle I will not purchase again. I mostly use this as something to throw on when im just sitting outside in the heat, but can definitely be used at work or school. I don't give a f*** if any of the notes in this smell synthetic. If you're looking for a pleasing calming fresh scent to just wear whenever and you don't mind the performance (I get like 5 hours which isn't too bad imo) then I think you would enjoy this for sure, especially at the price point it's at.
