When you have mitered joints like the ones in this table base, its best to size the end grain for the strongest joint. I will definitely document the project and send along some photos when done. We thought about having a department store cut the wood for us. Ill head over now! Once the end grain is dry, you can apply the glue at full strength and join the mitered edges.
